Sara Best is an experienced community artist, performer, Forest School leader and dance teacher. She has over 20 years of experience working with groups of people of all ages and abilities, facilitating and delivering creative and theatre arts projects in many different settings within the community. She has enjoyed a varied career working alone and in collabouration with other artists, for both Local and National Arts, Government and Non Government Organisations. Alongside her community work, Sara continues to develop her own practise as a performance artist.

Sara has a degree in Pure Mathematics, an HND in Public Art,she is a qualified Forest School (Level 3) leader and has a Natural Movement Teacher's Diploma; Sara has studied at King’s College London; Edinburgh School of Art and Leith School of Art, Edinburgh. Within her extensive dance training (including Southern Classical Indian, ballet, jazz, improvisation) she has studied dance therapy. Sara has also studied counselling and was an active member of the Co-counselling community for many years.

Sara is committed to the positive role that active engagement in creative and physical activity plays in a person’s emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing.

Andy Wilson is an experienced outdoor and environmental educator. He has an MA in Environmental studies, is a qualified Mountain Leader, Trail Bike Leader and Swift water rescue technician. Andy has spent many years living on the land, and has walked the length and breadth of the UK with a horse and cart; he has wealth of knowledge about free foods and has lived the bushcraft life!

Alongside his work for earthwiseways, Andy works freelance as an outdoor instuctor and also leading expeditions in the UK and worldwide.

Both leaders are fully insured, disclosed and hold current First Aid certificates.
